Description
Fanny Sabre Cuvée Anatole Blanc is a white wine from Burgundy that stands out for its freshness and refinement. This wine is a blend of two grape varieties: Aligoté and Chardonnay, grown on clay and limestone soils in the region of Sainte-Marie la Blanche, south of Beaune.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-picked, directly pressed and vinified without the addition of sulphites or other additives. Ageing is carried out for 5 months in 500 litre barrels, with a minimum amount of sulphites added to preserve the quality of the wine. The result is a wine with a shelf life of up to 3 years, ideal to accompany fish dishes and aged goat cheeses.
Taste
Fanny Sabre Cuvée Anatole Blanc has a fresh and rounded taste with a remarkable medium-high acidity. On the palate, aromas of citrus fruits such as lemon and white fruits stand out, complemented by delicate floral notes. On the finish, mineral and slightly nutty hints are perceived, adding complexity and depth to the wine. It is light in body, making it easy to drink and perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes, especially those with milder flavours such as fish and shellfish. The clarity and pale yellow colour of this wine add to its visual appeal, making every glass a pleasurable and refined experience.
