The nose of the 2022 Sorte Antiga has turned more balsamic and medicinal since last year. Like the rest of the 2022s, the wine is fresher than expected (pH of 3.18 and 7.1 grams of acidity), keeping a moderate 13.8% alcohol. It has the vibrant texture of the granite soils and finishes long and dry. The skin contact is not an important player in this bottling. It was bottled in July 2023.

Traditional fermented and aged in open oak foudres with the skins. Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
