Description
Karnage Kinto is a red wine with a white soul made in the Jura region of France by Stéphane Planche and Charles Dagand. The grapes used in this wine were bought from different areas of France to be vinified in the Jura. The composition of this wine is a balanced blend of 50% Cinsault and 35% Red Grenache and 15% White Grenache.
Winemaking
The Cinsault is pressed directly, while the Grenache Blanc and Grenache Blanc are introduced to macerate in whole cluster for 10 days. Subsequently, they are pressed and blended in stainless steel tanks without racking. Bottling was carried out in November and no sulphites were added at any stage of the process.
Taste
Karnage Kinto is simply pure grape juice, crisp and very primary. Its taste is refreshing and easy to drink, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a light wine, but with character. Its high "drinkability" makes it easy to enjoy a bottle on its own, so it is advisable to be careful and enjoy it in moderation.
