Description
Frisach Les Alifares 2021 is a white wine made from Grenache Gris grapes from very old vines that have been recovered.
This variety is very particular for being planted in honeycomb soils located on the La Serra estate, which largely determine the flavour and aroma of the fruit. This wine is defined as elegant and fresh, thanks to the peculiarity of its flamboyant orange colour and intense flavour.
Winemaking
The production of Frisach Les Alifares wine begins with the harvesting of the grapes, which are cultivated using ecological techniques that ensure the natural expression of the grapes.
The must is then extracted and macerated with the skins and stems for a period of 2 weeks. This phase ensures that the wine acquires its characteristic colour and tannins. After maceration, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then rests on its lees for a period of 8 months.
Finally, the Frisach Les Alifares wine is bottled without the addition of sulphites or other chemical compounds that could alter its flavour or aroma.
Taste
The Frisach Les Alifares wine is a wine that denotes its freshness from the first sip. On the palate you will notice its silky texture and excellent structure.
It also has a balanced level of acidity with a touch of citrus and a slight integrated tannic flavour. Its finish is persistent, leaving a very particular saline touch.
