Description
UBE Carrascal is a wine that reflects the pure essence of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This white wine is made exclusively from Palomino, distributed into Palomino Fino (73%), Palomino de Jerez (16%) and Palomino Pelusón (11%), from the "Las Vegas" vineyard on the Carrascal estate. Each variety contributes its distinctive nuances, making this wine a true testament to the diversity and richness of the region.
Winemaking
UBE Carrascal is made with fermentation in sherry butts, followed by 20 months of ageing under a light veil of flor, a technique that enhances its character and complexity. This meticulous process contributes to its elegant and fine profile, with a remarkable expression of the chalky, spangled albariza terroir that characterises its vineyard.
Taste
In the glass, UBE Carrascal presents a pale yellow colour, clean and bright, inviting you to discover its aromas of white and yellow fruit, with prominent notes of pear and citrus, and a subtle wrapper of quince. On tasting, it reveals itself as a fresh, upright wine, full-bodied and with a long, expressive finish. On the palate, it leaves an intense mineral sensation, a true reflection of the albarizas where its grapes are grown.
