Description
Parmantier Les Couarres Brut Nature is a champagne crafted exclusively from the Pinot Noirs grape variety by the Parmantier Frère & Soeur winery in France.
The vineyards from which the grapes from which this white wine is made were planted in 1993 in the Lieudit parcel in Merfy, in a village located north of the Montagne de Reims.
These vineyards have been cultivated on sandy soils on the surface and marl in the depths with a favourable exposure to the south.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand, the alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and the wine is aged in 400 litre French oak barrels.
The second fermentation takes place in the bottle and the wine is aged for a minimum of 54 months. Disgorgement is by hand.
Finally, it is bottled without final drainage, without fining, without added sulphites.
Taste
Parmantier Les Couarres Brut Nature is a champagne with a complexity of fruity and citrus aromas. In the mouth it is perfect and very light. With a fast and fine bubble, it has a pleasant acidity and is easy to drink, with a balanced finish!
