Description
The Mas Coutelou winery produces high quality organic wines, thanks to the care that Jeff Coutelou has taken in rescuing the crops of his predecessors, and working the land under traditional methods, thanks to which he has been using no chemicals in his crops for more than 30 years.
The natural and creamy white wine Mas Coutelou 5J is one of the best wines of this winery, made with Grenache and Macabeo grapes, and you can't miss it.
Elaboration
The natural wine Mas Coutelou 5J is elaborated with Grenache gris and Macabeo grapes, which go through a direct pressing process. Spontaneous fermentation is then carried out with indigenous yeasts.
The wine is then aged for a couple of years in cognac barrels for oxidative ageing. Finally, the wine is bottled without filtering or fining.
Taste
This white wine is fresh, round and unctuous. On the nose, it leaves citrus aromas and floral notes. Mas Coutelou 5J is full and fresh. It has an energetic acidity and notes of white fruits.
