Jeaunaux Robin Les Dessous De La Cabane Brut Rosé is a sparkling wine made from Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. It also includes 15% of Pinot Meunier rouge Côteau Champenois, from previous vintages. Its particular flavour is determined by the soil where the fruit is grown, which is composed of marl and chalk, as well as by the techniques used to process it.
It is a wine whose flavour denotes the combination of succulent Meunier fruit, with refreshing tones that are balanced by its slight bitterness. Undoubtedly, it is a wine that expresses the land where it comes from.
Winemaking
The elaboration of Jeaunaux Robin Les Dessous De La Cabane Brut Rosé does not differ from other examples of this winery, because, besides including a variety of fresh grapes, a percentage of wine from previous vintages is integrated.
The grapes that are included in this wine variety are treated under biodynamic techniques that seek the integration of the environment, avoiding the addition of chemicals. When the fruit reaches its optimum state of ripeness, it undergoes a harvesting phase before being pressed and the must is extracted.
Finally, it is fermented with indigenous yeasts and vinified in stainless steel and wooden barrels for two and a half years.
