The orange-label collaboration between Equipo Navazos and Colet from Penedès is the 2020 Colet Navazos Brut Nature, the one produced with Xarello grapes that have been aged 30 months in bottle in contact with the lees and with an oxidative Sherry touch (Amontillado and Palo Cortado) at disgorging. It feels very reductive, flinty and austere at first. It has notes of yeast and apples, something balsamic and floral, smoky and yeasty. The palate is pungent and dry with a long finish. 2,500 bottles produced. This tends to improve and amplify the Sherry character with time in bottle.
