Description

Christian Tschida Laissez-Faire is made in the Burgenland region of Austria. This wine is a pure Riesling that comes from vines, aged 40 years, growing on steep schist slopes, with a dense layer of limestone and quartz towards the bottom. This unique combination of terroir results in a wine of distinctive character and complexity.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and then crushed with the feet. Fermentation is carried out in large vats with indigenous yeasts and without racking. After this process, the wine is aged for 2 years in large Stockinger oak vats. It is bottled without fining or filtering and without the addition of sulphur, which guarantees its purity and authenticity.

Taste

Christian Tschida Laissez-Faire stands out for its unique and distinctive taste. It has a slightly cloudy pale yellow colour. On the nose, aromas of yellow plum, apricot, lemon and lime zest, as well as wild floral notes. On the palate, this wine surprises with its playful acidity and saline minerality. The aftertaste is long, dominated by a mix of fruits and spices. The notes of acidity, creaminess, syrupy texture, cider, and pear make this wine an unforgettable sensory experience.
