Produced by the Maison André Beaufort, this family winery is characterised by its focus on biodynamic agriculture, a practice that began after the founder's allergy to pesticides.
Winemaking
André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Réserve Brut Nature is composed mainly of Pinot Noir (80%) and a touch of Chardonnay (20%), varieties that provide structure and freshness. The vineyards, located on land classified as Grand Cru, benefit from a chalky soil that influences the minerality and quality of the wine. The winemaking process is completely artisanal, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and a minimum ageing of 24 months on the lees, which adds complexity and depth.
Taste
André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Réserve Brut Nature has fine, persistent bubbles and a bright golden colour. The nose displays a range of aromas from dried fruits and honey to more complex notes such as small red fruit and a slight hint of chalk. On the palate, it shows great structure and excellent freshness, with a balanced acidity that combines with its mineral character, offering a rich and satisfying sensory experience.
