The pink 2023 Risueño was produced with a blend of 50% Graciano, 30% Garnacha Blanca and 20% Garnacha Tinta, so a clarete mixing red and white grapes. It has a serious nose with notes of red berries, wild herbs and flowers. It's a powerful rosé with 14% alcohol, a pH of 3.49 and 5,54 grams of acidity, a fleshy palate and a tender mouthfeel. It fermented and matured in flextanks and stainless steel, without any oak. 1,800 bottles were filled in March 2024.

Description
Abel Mendoza Risueño is a rosé wine from vineyards located in the Rioja municipalities of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida. It is made from 50% Graciano, 30% Garnacha Blanca and 20% Garnacha Tinta.
Winemaking
Abel Mendoza Risueño is characterised by its fermentation in stainless steel tanks, where it rests with its lees until bottling in April. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected in the winery to ensure the best quality. The yield is approximately 3,500 kilograms per hectare.
Taste
Abel Mendoza Risueño has a light and refreshing taste. On the nose, it has a floral aroma with hints of strawberries. On the palate, notes of fruits such as strawberries and red berries are perceived, giving it a fruity and floral character. This rosé is considered ideal to accompany aperitifs, rice dishes, pasta, white meats and roasts.
