Winemaking
The Castelão grape has always surprised by its ability to produce structured wines of great complexity, while maintaining its delicacy and freshness. These characteristics are reminiscent of the wines of Burgundy, which led Dirk Niepoort, a great connoisseur of the wines of that region, to collaborate in the elaboration of this "Sem Vergonha". The vinification of this wine promises to surprise those who taste it.
Taste
The Susana Esteban Sem Vergonha wine has a cherry red colour. Its aroma is intense, dominated by red fruits, in particular cherry. The wood is perfectly integrated, both in the aroma and on the palate. On the palate, the wine is very balanced, smooth in tannins, elegant, fresh and structured, culminating in a long and delicious finish. It is recommended to be served at a temperature between 17 ºC and 19 ºC. It is a wine that pairs perfectly with spicy grilled and roasted meats, game and cheeses.
