Description
Le Nadir La Dîme d'Artémis is a 100% Chenin Blanc wine from Forges, grown organically since 2012. The vines are located on the top of a small hill with gravel and clay soils. This terroir, although warm, is fully exposed to the westerly oceanic winds, which maintains a constant coolness even in summer. The clay in the soil retains a large natural water reserve, supplying it throughout the summer. The Chenin responds by developing more power, similar to that found in the Layon area, but the coolness of the wind and the ground water supply maintain a strong tension in the wine. This Chenin Blanc stands out for its texture and balance, with rounded fruit and mouth-watering minerality.
