Description
Le Coste Pizzicante Rosato comes from the municipality of Gradoli, near Lago di Bolsena in Lazio. This wine is the result of the effort and passion of Gianmarco Antonuzi and Clementine Bouveron, producers of Le Coste winery.
Winemaking
Pizzicante Rosato is a skin contact rosé sparkling wine, also known as Pet Nat Rosé wine. It is made from 100% Aleatico grapes, which are harvested by hand, thus guaranteeing the maximum quality and freshness of the fruit. It all starts with the reception of the grapes in the winery where they are destemmed and fermented with their skins for only twelve hours. They are then pressed and transferred to tanks for spontaneous fermentation. After eighteen months of resting on the lees, the wine is disgorged and spends an additional year in the bottle before being released onto the market.
Taste
Pizzicante Rosato is a dazzling rosé sparkling wine with a pale hue and delicate bubbles. In terms of its flavour profile, it stands out for its refreshing notes of blood orange, red berries and rose. It is a drink that invites to be shared in joyful moments and in the company of good friends.
