Description
Ganevat Arbois Sur La Cote is an aged red wine produced by the Ganevat winery from Pinot Noir grapes under the Arbois appellation in the Jura wine region of France.
Pinot Noir is an excellent grape variety that comes from 40 year old vines grown organically on soils with sedimentary rocks of the grey marl type and clay loam soils.
Winemaking
For the production of this white wine, the grapes were selected in the vineyard by hand and the transfer to the winery was carried out carefully to preserve the grapes.
Alcoholic fermentation was spontaneously carried out with indigenous yeasts, and the wine was aged for 1 year in French oak barrels. The vinification process has been natural, without intervention, without clarification, without filtering and without adding sulphites.
