Description
Ganevat Côtes du Jura Fortbeau is an aged white wine made from the well-known Chardonnay grape variety by the Ganevat winery in the Jura region of France.
This excellent Chardonnay grape variety is organically grown in vineyards with an average age of 50 years planted in the green, hilly and cool heart of Jura.
Winemaking
For the production of this white wine, Ganevat Côtes du Jura Fortbeau, the grapes are selected in the vineyard by hand and the transfer to the winery is done very carefully in order to preserve the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts.
The wine is aged for 24 months protected from the air in demi-muids. an oak barrel. It is bottled without fining or filtering, and no sulphites are added in the process.
Taste
Ganevat Côtes du Jura Fortbeau is an aged white wine with a superb balance, presenting adequate depth, fruity aromas and useful oxidative notes. On the palate, balance, consistency and finesse are the main points.
