Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino Sugarille is a red wine that focuses on a single grape variety, Sangiovese. It is a wine that reflects the charm of the Old World, with a European character that highlights the winemaking tradition of the region.
Winemaking
Sangiovese grapes, under the influence of a warm climate, have an optimal ripening, which results in a wine with a remarkable alcohol content. After a careful manual harvest, the grapes are selected and processed in the winery, where they ferment at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 4 years in French oak barrels.

Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino Sugarille has an intense ruby red colour with garnet rim. On the nose, this red displays aromas of black cherries, blackberries, blueberries, plums and damson plums, complemented by notes of bitter chocolate, vanilla and oriental spices. The mouthfeel is incredibly fleshy and dense. The finish is lingering, leaving an extraordinary reverberation accompanied by mineral notes, a reflection of the clay-dominated soils of the Tuscan wine region.
