Description
Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino is a wine that stands out for its elegance and complexity. This wine comes from the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG region, one of the most prestigious in Italy, and is a faithful reflection of the wine tradition of the area.
Winemaking
Brunello di Montalcino is made exclusively with the Sangiovese variety, which is perhaps the best known of the indigenous Italian varieties. In this case, the wine is made from 100% of this grape, which gives it a distinctive and authentic character.
The grapes from the different vineyards ferment and macerate separately for three weeks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 24 months. Once this process is completed, the wines are blended and left to settle for a further six months in concrete tanks.

Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino has aromas of juniper, liquorice and sweet wood that delight the nose from the first moment. On the palate, a clear expression of sweet, ripe fruit unfolds, accompanied by spicy notes and earthy aromatic herbs. The texture of this wine is remarkable, with mouth-filling fruit and a lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression.
