The 2022 Syrah En Cerise Vineyard comes from biodynamically farmed vines planted in 1998 in silty loam and basalt cobblestones. Matured for 18 months in around 20% new French oak, it has pure scents of black cherry and plum, cracked pepper, dried herbs and violet. The medium-bodied palate is delicately styled with understated, herbal flavors, bright acidity, chalky tannins and a latent finish. It’s better on day two and will benefit from 3–5 years in the cellar. 397 cases were made.
