Description
Bucci Pongelli Rosso Piceno is an oenological gem that reflects the passion and dedication of the Villa Bucci winery, renowned for its pioneering approach to winemaking in the Marche region. This wine is a balanced blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Montepulciano, capturing the essence of these emblematic varieties.
The vineyards are located in Ancona, in the specific site of S. Fortunata, where the soils are predominantly limestone with 30% clay. This composition brings a distinctive minerality and a solid structure to the wine. The viticulture is organic, respecting the environment and guaranteeing the purity of the fruit.
Winemaking
After careful harvesting, the must is fermented and aged for a year in large, multi-purpose Slavonian and French oak barrels, followed by six months in the bottle. This process allows a harmonious integration of flavours and an elegant evolution in the glass.
