The very young and primary red 2024 Senda del Oro smells like the wines from the early days—raw, fresh, characterful and fruit-driven, with aromas of herbs and flowers, juicy and velvety. It has tannins to stand up to a diversity of dishes, and it's quite refreshing and approachable. It spent some months in barrels of different ages, but the dominant character is the fruit. 120,000 bottles and 5,000 magnums produced. It was bottled in April 2025.
