Description
Mestres Rosat is a rosé cava that stands out for its elegance and freshness, made from a blend of 40% Trepat, 30% Monastrell and 30% Garnacha. The first alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and the second fermentation takes place in the bottle with a natural cork stopper. The ageing is carried out in contact with the lees for more than 30 months, which gives the wine a remarkable complexity. This meticulous winemaking process culminates in a manual, artisanal disgorgement, a process that reflects the care and tradition of the Mestres winery, located in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
Taste
Mestres Rosat has a pale salmon pink colour, with a constant release of fine bubbles that form an attractive rosary in the glass. On the nose, it offers an elegant combination of red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle notes of yeast and a touch of aniseed. On the palate, the cava is dry but rounded, with a crisp carbonation that enhances its freshness. It stands out for its personality and balance, resulting in a rounded wine, ideal for those who are looking for a different rosé, with great finesse and character.
