Morgon Corcelette by Mee Godard is a remarkable wine that stands out for its balance and modern aromatic expression. This wine comes from the Corcelette vineyard, located on south-east facing granite slopes, from parcels called Bellevue and Montillet. The vines, with an average age of 70 years, are densely planted at a rate of 11,000 vines per hectare and are trained in gobelet. Mee Godard's Morgon Corcelette is 100% Gamay and completely organic, reflecting Mee Godard's commitment to sustainable viticulture. The vinification and ageing of this wine are carried out with meticulous care to maintain its character and ageing potential.
Taste
Mee Godard Morgon Corcelette is a true delight for the senses. On first contact, the wine displays seductive aromas of black fruits such as cassis and blackberry, complemented by notes of violet and a touch of mild spices. On the palate, the wine stands out for its velvety texture and harmonious structure, combining soft tannins with lively acidity. The concentrated core of fruit is supported by bright acids and fine but abundant tannins, giving it a remarkable capacity for ageing. The finish is long and elegant, leaving a crisp, refreshing impression on the palate, with exceptional ageing potential.
