Description
Mee Godard Morgon Côte du Pyesis a wine that stands out for its balance and its modern aromatic expression. This wine is made from 100% Gamay grapes grown in vineyards with a density of 4,500 to 5,000 vines per hectare and an average age of 65 years. The vineyards are located in three plots in the Côte du Py climates, specifically in Chaponne, Morgon and Côte du Py, with north-east, south-west and south-east exposures.
Winemaking
Viticulture is manual and the grapes are harvested in small crates. Each parcel is fermented separately in tanks and aged separately until blending. Maceration lasts between 16 and 20 days, followed by ageing in barrels, foudre and demi-muids for 11 months, and an additional 3 months in tanks.

Mee Godard Morgon Côte du Py presents a captivating aromatic profile, with notes of cassis, blueberries, violet petals and a touch of sweet spices. On the palate, this wine is characterised by a velvety texture and harmonious structure, combining soft tannins and lively acidity.
