Description
Les Rendez-Vous de Billecart Salmon No.1 Meunier is a unique champagne that represents the excellence and tradition of the Billecart-Salmon house. This wine is a tribute to Pinot Meunier, a grape variety that has been an integral part of the family's vineyards since 1818. Made from 100% Meunier grapes, this extra brut champagne is a true reflection of its terroir.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected with precision to ensure the highest quality. They are then gently pressed and the must obtained is fermented in oak barrels. This process adds complexity and a unique texture to the wine. The wine is aged in the cellar for a minimum of 42 months in the bottle on the lees, which allows the wine to develop its characteristic aromas and flavours. This champagne has a final dosage of 4.50 g/l of sugar which makes it an Extra Brut.
