The 2022 La Hormiga has a lactic touch that should integrate with a little more time in bottle. It's powerful and voluptuous, reflecting the warm and dry season, and it reached high ripeness and 14.42% alcohol but keeps its poise and balance. It reveals ripe berry fruit and some spice and a velvety and juicy palate with very round tannins. 105,000 bottles and 1,050 magnums produced. It was bottled in May 2024.
