Description
Juan Gil Yellow Label is a red wine produced in the D.O. Jumilla by Bodegas Juan Gil, with 100% Monastrell grapes. This young wine stands out for its freshness and authenticity, being an excellent choice within its price range. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level in limestone soils and with a continental climate, which gives it character and complexity.
Winemaking
The winemaking process of Juan Gil Yellow Label includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by a brief stay in wood, which enhances its fruity profile without losing freshness. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, this wine is ideal to accompany meat dishes, stews and medium cured cheeses.
Taste
In the mouth, Juan Gil Yellow Label is tasty, with a good structure and a balanced body. The marked tannins stand out, providing a pleasant and persistent texture. On the nose, we find intense fruity aromas, where ripe fruits predominate, accompanied by light touches of new wood. This wine is lively and well-constituted on the palate, with an outstanding persistence that improves when it is left to breathe for a while.
