Description
Dehesa Gago is a wine representative of the traditional viticulture of the Toro region in Spain. This wine is made from 100% Tinta de Toro, a native variety that stands out for its robustness and character. Since 1998, Telmo Rodriguez has worked with 8 families of local winegrowers, promoting traditional cultivation practices in low-density goblet-trained vineyards.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring careful selection of the grapes. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and ageing takes place for 6 months in these same tanks, which helps to preserve the freshness and purity of the wine.
Taste
The taste of Dehesa Gago is a harmonious combination of freshness and complexity. On the nose, the wine presents fine and fresh aromas with spicy and fruity notes, highlighting hints of blackberry and plum.
