Coruña del Conde BCDC Tempranillo is a wine created by the Bodega Coruña del Conde winery, located in the province of Burgos, Spain and whose production is carried out with Tempranillo grapes, a native variety of the Ribera del Duero region.
The winery has a long history in the production of high quality wines and this one in particular is one of the most recommended options by experts.
Winemaking
The winemaking process begins with the harvesting of the grapes by hand and their subsequent selection on the winemaking table. Afterwards, a cold pre-fermentation maceration is carried out to enhance the aromas and flavours of the grapes. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C for 15 days.
Finally, the wine is aged for 4 months in American and French oak barrels before being bottled and marketed.
Taste
Coruña del Conde BCDC Tempranillo is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, with violet reflections. On the nose, fruity notes of red and black fruits can be appreciated, as well as spicy and toasted nuances, typical of its ageing in barrels.
On the palate, this wine has a fresh and pleasant entry, with a good balance between acidity and soft tannins.
