Description
Antoine Lienhardt Côte de Nuits Villages Les Essards is a red wine from Burgundy, France, made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes. The vineyard, planted in the 1960s in the village of Comblanchien, is farmed organically and biodynamic principles are incorporated.
Winemaking
Viticulture is meticulous, with practices such as green pruning to limit yields and improve concentration. Harvesting is done by hand and all grapes are destemmed prior to fermentation in closed tanks for 10 to 15 days. No sulphur is added during vinification and the wine is aged for one year in oak barrels, 10% of which are new.

Antoine Lienhardt Côte de Nuits Villages Les Essards is a celebration of red fruit and elegance. On the nose, it presents notes of red fruits and floral hints, while the palate has a slightly vegetal character with pleasant tannins. This wine stands out for its purity of fruit and balance, being more subtle and nuanced compared to other wines from the same region. It can be enjoyed young or kept for 5 to 8 years for greater complexity.
