Description

Alessandra Divella Blanc de Noirs is a supreme expression of the Pinot Noir grape, noted for its meticulous winemaking and unique flavour profile. This sparkling wine, originating from Lombardy, Italy, is made exclusively from Pinot Noir, a variety that occupies 0.5 hectares of the vineyards managed by Alessandra Divella. The estate focuses on organic farming practices, with traditional and natural management, avoiding the use of sulphur and favouring spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.

Winemaking

Winemaking begins with a gentle pressing, using a hand press with a vertical wooden press, followed by spontaneous fermentation in barrels. This process is notable for its focus on preserving the purity and expression of the terroir. The wine ages in barrel until bottling in April, spending 42 months on the lees before being disgorged without dosage, resulting in a limited production of 970 bottles per year.

Taste

Alessandra Divella Blanc de Noirs is characterised by exceptional balance on the palate, accompanied by a pleasant acidity that enhances its elegance and complexity. Tasting notes include dried fruits, brioche and green almond, offering a rich and nuanced sensory experience. This non-dosed sparkling wine reveals Alessandra Divella's mastery of winemaking, achieving a wine with great minerality and structure, which faithfully reflects the quality of Pinot Noir and the terroir of Lombardy.
Alessandra Divella, at twenty-nine years old, has positioned herself as an innovative figure in Italian viticulture, with a focus on organic practices and an aspiration towards permaculture. His dedication to winemaking reflects not only a commitment to quality and sustainability, but also a tribute to his family heritage and precision in every detail of the process. This wine is a testament to his passion and skill, offering a unique experience for wine lovers seeking authentic and memorable expressions of Pinot Noir.
