Description
AMI Maranges is an aged red wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir in the Burgundy region by the Domaine AMI winery.
The Pinot Noir grapes come from old organic vineyards planted on clay and limestone soils.
These vineyards have been cultivated using certified organic farming techniques with biodynamic treatments to guarantee the natural balance of the terroir.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand. Subsequently, the grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts and without temperature control in stainless steel tanks.
The wine is aged for 12 months in old French oak barrels. At the time of bottling, no fining, filtration or additives are used, except for 10 to 30 ppm of SO2 depending on the vintage, with the main objective of creating a quality wine.
Taste
AMI Maranges is a smooth red wine with fragrant fruity aromas, with notes of leather and subtle spicy hints. The palate is generous, warm and delicate. A wine with soft tannins and a refreshing acidity with a persistent and elegant finish.
