Description

AMI Gaminot is an aged red wine made mainly from Gamay grapes, 20% Pinot Noir, and white grapes of the Aligoté and Chardonnay varieties in the Burgundy region.
The Gamay grapes come from old organic vineyards grown on clay and granitic soils on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, and the Pinot Noir, Aligoté and Chardonnay varieties have been planted on clay and limestone soils.
These vineyards have been cultivated using organic farming techniques with biodynamic treatments and following the lunar cycles in each of the processes.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested by hand. The Gamay and Aligoté grapes are co-fermented in whole bunches in a large open wooden vat in the cellar.
The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are vinified in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.
Subsequently, the wine is aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels. Finally, they are blended and the resulting wine is bottled without fining, filtering or adding SO2.

Taste

AMI Le Gaminot is a juicy, fun, ageing red wine with incredibly pleasant fruity and floral aromas. Easy to drink and light on the palate with very pleasant tannins and balanced acidity, it is quite a pleasant wine!

A fragrant and light wine

AMI Le Gaminot is the result of the combined know-how of two great wine-loving friends Paul Marchand-Perarnau and Willy Roulendes.
This wine is a creation of the Domaine AMI winery that stands out for its work with the indigenous grape varieties of Chardonnay, Aligoté, Pinot Noir and southern grapes such as Gamay.
In the gastronomic field, this is a red wine that will perfectly accompany aperitif dishes, Iberian cured meats, roasted red meats, roast pork and blue fish.
And you, have you tried this magnificent wine? Tell us what you think!
