Description
Marzagana Mago del Norte is a natural red wine of the Marzagana Elementales winery, with organic certification. This wine is a blend of four native grape varieties: Listán Negro, Listán Blanco, Negramoll and Gallo, all of them coming from vines up to 150 years old.
Elaboration
The winemaking process includes an 8-day maceration and spontaneous fermentation of the free-run juice with indigenous yeasts for 21 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 3 months in French oak barrels, and the wine is bottled without filtering or fining.
Taste
Marzagana Mago del Norte is characterised by a complex and balanced flavour profile. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits and cherries can be appreciated, accompanied by spicy notes. On the palate, it is a tannic wine with a long and persistent finish. The combination of grape varieties and the traditional winemaking method give it a unique flavour that reflects the richness of Tenerife's terroir.
