Description
Le Nadir Le Nuit Le Silence is a red wine made in the commune of Brossay, located in the Loire region of France. This wine is produced in vineyards with Jurassic clay and flint soils, characterised by their low yields, reaching only 30 hectolitres per hectare.
Winemaking
Vinification is carried out with 75% of the previous year's Grolleau, re-fermented with 25% of the current year's Grolleau. The whole bunches are macerated for a week, then pressed and aged in stainless steel tanks and old barrels for 24 months. This wine was bottled in March 2023 and production is limited, with only 1,175 bottles available. It should be noted that no sulphites are added during the winemaking process.
Taste
The taste of Le Nadir Le Nuit Le Silence is complex and balanced, reflecting the unique characteristics of its terroir. When tasted, notes of fresh red fruits and a subtle hint of spice can be appreciated as a result of its particular fermentation and ageing process. The texture is smooth and silky, with well-integrated tannins that provide structure without dominating the palate. This wine stands out for its freshness and vitality, with a lingering finish that leaves a lasting and pleasant impression.
