Description
Frontonio Microcósmico Garnacha is ared wine produced by Bodegas Frontonio from unirrigated, goblet-trained vineyards located in the mountains of Aragón. These vines, more than 50 years old, are grown at an altitude of 650 to 700 metres above sea level on slate and sandy soils, under a continental climate with Mediterranean influence.
Winemaking
Frontonio Microcósmico Garnacha ismade with 100% of the Garnacha variety, which gives it an authentic expression, faithful to its origin. The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes of 18 kg, and the grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts, using 40% whole bunches, following a traditional method in cement tanks. Subsequently, the wine matures for 7 months in underground cement tanks, a process that allows the freshness and purity of this Aragonese Grenache to be maintained.
Taste
Frontonio Microcósmico Garnacha stands outfor its fresh and complex character. On the nose, this wine expresses aromas of raspberry and strawberry, accompanied by a mineral and spicy background that adds layers of depth to the whole. On the palate, it has refreshing acidity and elegant tannins, with a muscular texture that feels robust but balanced. The finish is dry, with a persistence that highlights its purity and structure. With a moderate alcohol content of 13.5%, this wine is ideal for pairing with baked white meats, mild rice dishes or classic tapas, enjoying the elegance of a well-crafted Garnacha.
