Domaine De La Pinte Arbois Poulsard de l'Ami Karl is a red wine produced in the Jura region in eastern France. This wine is made from 100% Poulsard grapes, a grape variety indigenous to the Jura region, which gives the wine a unique personality.

Winemaking
The winemaking process begins with the grapes being harvested by hand, followed by partial destemming. The grapes undergo carbonic maceration, a process in which the whole grapes are fermented in an oxygen-free environment, resulting in a wine with fresh fruit and a characteristic aroma.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, and then the wine is racked into oak barrels for maturation.
During the maturation process, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, a process in which the hard acids in the wine are transformed into softer, rounder acids, resulting in a more balanced wine with a smoother mouthfeel.
Taste
On the palate, this wine is fresh and light, with well-balanced acidity and soft, elegant tannins. Fresh red fruit flavours, hints of spice and earthiness stand out, with floral and fruity notes on the nose.
