Description
This exclusive wine was created by Dominique Derain in Beaune, who as a child already had dreams of making his own wine. That's why he decided to do different studies to finally become a winegrower. After many years of experience he became the owner of a vineyard in St-Aubin and this is where the Derain wine was born.
The style of this white wine is deep and mineral. It is recognisable by its intense aroma with a great taste potential, and because it is capable of producing different sensations that will take you to an ideal atmosphere to enjoy with the best company.
Winemaking
Derain Saint-Aubin is made with the Chardonnay grape harvest of French origin, which is undoubtedly one of the most versatile grapes as it offers a wide variety of aromas which is ideal for white wines.
This type of wine must be aged in vats or barrels with a high volume of oak used for up to 14 months. Its fermentation is spontaneous and does not require any type of filtering.
Taste
It is a wine with a very intense but pleasant flavour, it has an unmistakable acidity with a sensation of fresh fruit and minerals. Its style is medium-bodied and in the mouth it is usually fresh and pleasant.
