The aromatic 2019 Vatua! produced with 90% Muscat and 10% Gewürztraminer fermented with indigenous yeasts and refermented in bottle, where it matured with lees for 24 months. It has 12% alcohol, 6.3 grams of acidity and just 2.9 grams of sugar. It's serious, balanced, dry and with integrated, small bubbles, less exotic than in the past but keeping a floral touch (white flowers getting more intense with time in the glass), but it's not intensely varietal, as one might expect. 20,000 bottles produced.
