Description
Bérêche Les Beaux Regards: A wine that evokes the essence of tradition and innovation. Produced in the Champagne region, this wine is the result of the passion and dedication of the Bérêche & Fils family.
Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this wine comes from two old vines located in two villages: 70% in Ludes 1er Cru (Montagne de Reims) and 30% in Mareuil-le-Port (Vallée de la Marne).
Winemaking
Fermentation takes place slowly in barrels, followed by ageing on the lees. After more than 36 months in the cellar in rhyme, the wine is finally dosed at a final dosage of 3g/l (Extra Brut). Production is limited, with only approximately 3,510 bottles produced and only in the best vintages.
Taste
Bérêche Les Beaux Regards is a wine that offers a unique sensory experience. According to the Wine Advocate - William Kelley, the champagne opens in the glass with notes of pear, citrus oil, blanched almonds, fresh bread and vanilla. It is a medium-bodied, acidic and chiselled wine with a chalky structure. On the other hand, Bettane & Desseauve describes a persistent, almost powerful bouquet, with smoky notes, lemon and white peach on an iodised background. The palate is balanced and tenderly textured, culminating in a linear finish that focuses on chalkiness and iodine.
