Andrea Calek A Toi Nous is a natural red wine made in the Ardèche region of France by Andrea Calek and Stefana Nicolescu. This wine is mainly composed of Grenache and Syrah, with 95% and 5% respectively in some vintages, while in others Grenache is the majority and Syrah complements the blend.
Winemaking
The vinification of Andrea Calek A Toi Nous is carried out without any additives and without added sulphites, which makes it an organic, biodynamic and completely natural wine. Fermentation is carried out with a short maceration and ageing takes place in vats to maintain the freshness and vibrant character of the wine.
Taste
Andrea Calek A Toi Nous is fresh, juicy and very drinkable. On the nose, floral and fruity aromas reminiscent of blackberries, raspberries and plums, complemented by notes of black olives and cured meat. On the palate, it is vibrant and complex, with flavours of liquorice, pink pepper and an earthy touch that adds depth. This wine offers a medium-long finish, with a persistent and pleasant sensation. It is ideal with charcuterie dishes, grilled meats and other foods that highlight its gastronomic character. To enjoy it at its best, we recommend decanting it half an hour before serving if the presence of carbon dioxide gas is uncomfortable.
