The red 2015 Allende is a perfect example of the style of this wine. It has a sleek palate with moderate acidity and polished tannins that make it very easy to drink. It was a warm and dry year that delivered powerful wines. This matured in French barriques for 14 months, and during that time, it was racked every two months. 320,000 bottles produced.

Description
Allende is an exclusive red wine from Bodegas Finca Allende (Miguel Ángel de Gregorio). This exquisite red wine comes exclusively from Tempranillo grapes grown in vineyards with an average age of 35 years.
Winemaking
The grapes are selected by hand. The bunches are destemmed and not crushed. To make it, a pre-fermentative maceration is carried out at 5ºC for 6 days, controlled at 28ºC for 10 days in stainless steel tanks.
This vintage of this crianza red wine from La Rioja is aged for 14 months in French (98%) and American (2%) oak barrels. After that, it was bottled.
Taste
It is a perfectly balanced wine. Intense fruity aromas are perceived with spicy notes under a smoky and slightly saline background. On the palate it is fuller on the palate, with a good acidity that provides a long, persistent finish with hints of minerals.
A modern classic and a pleasure for the senses.
It is an excellent wine that invites you to try it. It is a very good rioja, modern, but as well made and drinkable as those of yesteryear.
This wine is the perfect companion for dishes such as cannelloni, sausages, veal with mushrooms, duck breast and lentils with chorizo.
