Buy Wine from Dominio de Eguren
Dominio de Eguren is a project of the Riojan Eguren family that produces wines under the denomination Vinos de la Tierra. It is located in Páganos (Alava). The Egurenfamily has been making wine since 1870 and above all they declare themselves to be farmers, a sign of distinction and respect for the land they work.
The group includes prestigious brands such as Sierra Cantabria, San Vicente or Teso la Monja.
The philosophy of Dominio de Eguren is the elaboration of low cost wines with the wisdom treasured for years; for the elaboration of these wines they use their own vines from La Mancha, aged between 30 and 70 years old and at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level; these benefit from mostly clay soils that retain well the little water they receive from the sky.
The estates are planted with Cencibel, Bobal, Airén and Macabeo.
Some of their most representative wines are: Protocolo Tinto, a young red wine that is worth more than it costs; Protocolo Blanco that combines the potential of Macabeo and Airén as native grapes resulting in an easy to drink, fresh and dry wine or Códice that represents the TOP wine of the winery, structured, good mouthfeel and unbeatable in its value for money.
Dominio de Eguren: demonstrating that they are capable of making wines for the enjoyment of all budgets!
