The NV Listán Blanco Las Machuqueras is a blend of wine from 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The wines were blended in 2022 and then kept in tank until it was bottled in 2024. In 2016, she pruned too short, and from there, she didn't find the grapes as she expected. So, she fermented with some skins in chestnut barrels but didn't really know what to do with the wines that were finally blended into one. The wine has a deeper golden color, with the characteristic spicy note reminiscent of clove. It is nuanced and complex, with a chalky, dry and stony palate and a pungent finish. This is from a very dry place that is austere and covered with volcanic ash, with black soils that mark the wines. The wine has complexity and depth and is nuanced; whatever happened early on that she didn't like in the wines doesn't really matter, because in a strong a special place like Las Machuqueras, no matter what you do, the place comes back in the end. Bravo! 3,890 bottles produced. It was bottled in 2024. This fills the gap between 2015 and 2021
