Description
Rietsch's Stierkopf Pinot Noir is a natural single varietal red wine, made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. It is a wine that evokes the fruit from the south, defined as warm, rich and spicy.
It is a juicy wine defined as delicate, with a bitter and persistent touch on the palate, which makes it unique. Each sip is an invitation to elegance and the enjoyment of an unforgettable experience.
It is a young wine with ageing, very characteristic for its vinification process, since after being fermented, it is bottled to macerate and packaged.
Winemaking
The grapes from the Rietsch Pinot Noir Stierkopf vineyards are harvested from vines grown on soils of an average age of 30 years, using organic techniques for the treatment of the soil.
The soils face south and are composed of limestone and sandstone, which determine the Pinot Noir flavour of this wine.
The harvesting method is carried out 100% by hand, ensuring that the fruit arrives at the winery in its optimum state of ripeness. It is then subjected to a semi carbonic maceration and fermented for 17 days with native yeasts. Aging is carried out in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
Taste
Stierkopf Pinot Noir de Rietsch is a fruity red wine, which leaves a characteristic bitter taste on the palate. It lingers on the palate for a long time, balancing the spicy and peppery notes with each sip.
A spicy and warm wine
The term spicy and warm of this wine is not only defined by its taste and the origin of the fruit, but also by the sensations it can produce in those who taste it. It is ideal to accompany dishes that include seafood and blue fish.
