Buy Creamy and structured wine
The creamy and structured white wines have the soul of red wines that stand out for their concentration, density and opulence. They are usually elaborated on southern warm climate with varieties such as Chardonnay in the modern school Burgundy, Roussanne and Marsanne in North Rhône and Sémillon Blanc in Bordeaux. The trends and techniques of modern oenology make, thanks to a very mature grape harvests and an excess of aging in new roasted French oak, the wines are thus rich and concentrated.
Sweet and mesmerizing tannins, candied ripe fruit, stale butters, vanilla, coconut and nuts are some of the tracks of these speculative wines. In their youth they could have been defined as fragrant or deep which were overshadowed by the abundant use of wood. These are advised to drink between 10 and 12 ºC (50 and 53.6ºF) in the autumn season with intense dishes, strikingly seasoned, ripened cheeses and why not a good escalope of foie gras.
