Description
Marzagana El Roque is a red wine produced in the Tenerife region of the Canary Islands. This wine is produced from 250-year-old Listán Negro vines, grown at an altitude of 720 metres above sea level in the village of La Victoria. The grapes are cultivated using a system known as "mesa" or "parral bajo" (low vine training).
Winemaking
Maceration lasts 8 to 10 days, followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 21 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 4 to 5 months in used French oak barrels. El Roque's production is not associated with a specific appellation of origin, which allows the producers to maintain an artisanal and authentic approach.

On the nose, the wine displays an intense aroma of ripe red fruits such as cherries, complemented by spicy notes that add depth and complexity.
