Description
Malleolus de Valderramiro is a red wine made exclusively with the Tempranillo grape variety by Bodegas Emilio Moro under the D.O. Ribera del Duero appellation.
The grapes come from Valderramiro, the winery's oldest vineyard, which is more than 90 years old and was planted in 1924 on clayey soil with some limestone areas.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand. Once in the winery after fermentation, the wine is macerated for 32 days in 3,000 kg tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in American oak barrels. The wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
Taste
Malleolus de Valderramiro is a wine with a great fruity character and a magnificent aromatic complexity. In the mouth it is warm and sweet with a balanced acidity and a high quality tannin that impresses the palate. With a warm aftertaste and a pleasant aftertaste that invites to drink again.
