The 2021 Viñedos de Salinillas de Buradón comes from a parish of Labastida, the westernmost place bottled in the Lindes project, a very small place with 117 inhabitants and currently 47 hectares of vineyards in total. From two growers, they get the grapes from 4.5 of these hectares to produce 20,000 bottles. It has a lactic twist, notes of wild berries and flowers and herbs. It's medium to full-bodied, textured, fine-grained and tasty, clean and focused. It's surprisingly fresh and elegant, but it's also powerful and ripe, coming in at 14.6% alcohol but with all in balance. It was bottled in June 2023.

Description
Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Salinillas de Buradón is a wine that captures the essence of the terroir of this historic hamlet of Labastida. With a blend of 91% Tempranillo, 4% Garnacha and 5% other varieties, this wine benefits from vineyards located in soils rich in quartz salts and red clay, which provide a distinctive mineral character. The vines, between 30 and 50 years old, are located at altitudes between 563 and 578 metres, providing a natural freshness.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels of different volumes, which gives it complexity and depth.
Taste
Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Salinillas de Buradón has a bright cherry red colour. On the nose, it offers expressive notes of black fruits, blue flowers, spicy and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is a vibrant and tasty wine, with ripe and expressive tannins that provide structure and length on the finish. The minerality of the soil is reflected in its profile, offering a serious and slightly austere taste experience, which evolves over time to reveal its complexity.
